Choosing a size

The seated figure is how many people fit at tables with room to move. If you want a dance floor, a bar or a space for caterers inside the same marquee, allow for them: as a rule of thumb, go up one size from the one that just seats your numbers. Draft wording

From your current site: the 12 × 18m meets a guest list of 150 and leaves enough room for a dance floor, DJ area and bar. The 9 × 13.5m is a charming size for a wedding with a guest list of 100.

Marquees join together, so a large event is usually a main marquee with a smaller one alongside for catering or a bar. The 6 × 6m is the size most often used as a catering tent. If your numbers are between two sizes, ask: a linked setup is often the answer.

Then add flooring, lighting, furniture and a bar. Items priced as a share of the marquee show their pounds once a marquee is in Your Quote.
